FRI, MAR 2, 2018

Dickstusso inheaven allformats white 01

In Heaven, the new album from beloved Oakland enigma Dick Stusso, is out today on LP, CD, digital, and cassette. Stusso, the musical alter ego for songwriter Nic Russo, has been described as “a failure-prone fantasist in a cowboy hat” (East Bay Express), a “stoic purveyor of country-fried gloom rock” (The Bay Bridged), and “like some kind of psychotic Gram Parsons” (Noisey).

This afternoon at 4 PM Pacific time, Stusso’s band will perform live from the East Bay on Pressuredrop.tv. Tune in here to watch his set. Next week, he hits the road  for a run of dates, including some with recent Sub Pop signees Jo Passed and Moaning. Dick Stusso will also be performing at SXSW. See below for a full list of upcoming tour dates, and nab a copy of In Heaven to call your very own in the shop.
