I hate the weekend 1

Today, Stereogum premiered “I Hate the Weekend,” the first music video from Tacocat’s highly-anticipated new record Lost Time. Director Jessica Aceti’s clip features the band performing at a candy-crazed house party in what may well be Hardly Art’s first-ever video with a credited pyrotechnics expert. We are also announcing our official SXSW showcase today: on Thursday, March 17th, Hardly Art will be hosting an “Official Brand Awareness Showcase” at Cheer Up Charlie’s (900 Red River St.). The line-up includes ProtomartyrShannon and the ClamsLa Luz, the aforementioned Tacocat, IAN, and Dude York. This event is 21+, with doors at 8 PM. You can RSVP on Facebook here.

Limited edition color vinyl pre-orders of Lost Time are available now through our webstore. See the tour page for a full list of Tacocat’s upcoming US and international tour dates, and all of their scheduled SXSW appearances.
