Starting today, you can stream Gone by the Dawn, the exquisite new album from Bay Area trio Shannon and the Clams, in its entirety. Dawn, out on CD, LP, and digital formats next Friday, simultaneously finds the band at their most emotionally-unvarnished (with lyrical allusions to then-recent heartbreak) and sonically polished. All thirteen of the record's diverse garage rock tracks were recorded with producer Sonny Smith (Sonny & the Sunsets) at John Vanderslice's Tiny Telephone Studios, making this the band's first proper studio album.
