ill peach Share “COLLIDING” New Single Off THIS IS NOT AN EXIT, Their Full-Length Debut, Available Worldwide On November 3rd, 2023

On November 3rd, 2023, Los Angeles duo ill peach will release their debut full-length, THIS IS NOT AN EXIT, via Hardly Art. This collection of anthemic songs is built out of bright pop and gritty experimental elements, punctuated with hooky choruses ready to be screamed along to in the safety of your own bedroom or with a bunch of friends at one of ill peach’s intense live shows.

Following the previously released singles “HEAVYWEIGHT,” “HEAD FULL OF HOLES,” “BLAH BLAH BLAH,” and “BLOOM” comes the buoyant electro-ethereal single “COLLIDING.”

ill peach says of this new song: “‘COLLIDING’ is about finding beauty in friction and contrast when the real shit that makes you feel alive is in the stark opposites.  Also, learning to love the differences and how that can color a relationship in a healthy way, and just being ok with that."

The seed of ill peach was first planted in the recording studios of New York City, where Pat Morrissey and Jess Corazza were working together as professional songwriters. Since then, they’ve collaborated with artists like SZA, Weezer, Pharrell, Saint JHn, Icona Pop, aespa, and Genesis Owusu. The duo needed an outlet for their more left-of-center, personal compositions, and ill peach was born. This week, their standalone 2023 single “HOLD ON,” released on the band’s imprint POP CAN is featured on EA Games FC24 soundtrack.

What people have said about ill peach:
"There truly is nothing in modern music that feels or sounds like ill peach, and their modern and dynamic appeal sticks out impressively in what is already an incredibly diverse and creative music scene." ["BLAH BLAH BLAH"] - CLOUT

"This new song marks a remarkable twist on ill peach's signature sound, moving into more upbeat, electric, and rooted in alternative rock terrain...There's nothing in modern music that looks or sounds like ill peach, making them a truly unique and dynamic act." ["BLAH BLAH BLAH"] - Oleada Indie

“Vocalist Jess Corazza’s delicate high end reflects their affinity for atmospheric dream pop melodies, but the undercurrent of chaos beneath it adds a layer of tension that feels cinematic. The resulting jam is a terrific slice of alt-pop with a melody that will creep into your head over and over.” [“DANDELION”] - Consequence

“...songs that draw on stately R&B, effervescent pop, and absorbing yet lo-fi production.” [“Excuse Me While We Find Our Minds”] - CLASH

“…together the artists shape-shift their love for idiosyncratic pop music through tranquil new single “DANDELION.” Transferring their complicated tale of love through an electro-funk charged sound and nostalgic sphere.” - The Line of Best Fit

a cacophony of experimental sounds met with ethereal vocals and lyrics [“Wildfire”] - Wonderland

“ill peach shattering the glossy facade of American quaintness with pummelling synths and hypnotic, Suicide-style drum machine. A rethinking of a classically patriotic symbol, it’s also a perfectly bombastic opening to sound the alarm (“American Pie”/sound the alarm] .” - The FADER
