03.09.07 -- Hardly Art Exists!
Yes! All of the rumors you've been hearing are undoubtedly true, as Hardly Art officially opened its proverbial doors for business today. Hardly Art is a new label based in Seattle, WA, and was started by Jonathan Poneman, founder of Sub Pop Records. Our releases will be distributed by both Sub Pop and ADA, and our offices are based in the same building as Sub Pop. The first signing for Hardly Art is the Seattle duo Arthur & Yu, and we'll be releasing their debut, In Camera, on June 19th.
