Today, March 24th, Hardly Art will release the third album from everyone’s favorite, increasingly unhinged rock phenom Dick Stusso. S.P. is the first Dick Stusso record in four years, following his stellar Hardly Art debut In Heaven from 2018—but this latest missive is more of an indirect sequel to the buzz-building 2015 release Nashville Dreams / Sings the Blues, diving deeper into Dick Stusso’s crumbling psyche and dystopian surroundings. Dick Stusso Shares Lyric Video For Ruminative New Single “Self Reflection (Deep)”

Hardly Art Signs ill peach For The Known Universe
Hardly Art is elated to announce the signing of Los Angeles group, ill peach to their robust roster of artists. This signing follows the release of the band’s 2022 Hardly Art single “COMATOSE” which was included in the label’s 15th Anniversary digital series. Forming after a stint at SkinWalker Ranch in Gusher, UT, the grit-pop duo comprised of members Jess Corazza and Pat Morrissey fuse together experimental sounds with ethereal vocals. They’re enamored in future tech melding with art, yet they also place moments of nostalgia and snippets of everyday life in their tracks.

Shana Cleveland Releases Walking Through The Morning Dew From Manzanita Out March 10th
Today songwriter, musician, visual artist, and writer Shana Cleveland (La Luz) has released the dreamy “Walking Through The Morning Dew,” the newest single off her forthcoming solo album, Manzanita which is out March 10 via Hardly Art Records. The LP is set in the natural world and Cleveland’s move to rural California allowed for most of the songwriting to take place outside. Shana says, “This is a song about Spring and rebirth. In California, Spring is the season when nature comes inside. The house is suddenly full of weird bugs. A line from this song encapsulates the album - ‘Everything is blindingly in bloom.’”
